TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Tim Hegberg is an environmental scientist in Skelly and Loy, Inc.'s Hunt Valley, Maryland, office with four years of experience as an Environmental Scientist. During his four years of experience, he has performed wetland and forest delineation mapping, geomorphic stream surveys, natural resource assessments, drafting with Microstation, project cost estimates with Estimator, anthropological writing analysis on State Highway marketing materials, designing assets for new State Highway marketing materials, and creating analysis systems to automate BANCS model hydrologic analysis using sUAS data.
