TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Robert A. Kundrick, PLS is the Geomatics Operations Director of GPI Geospatial and a Professional Land Surveyor. He has practiced land surveying in Maryland for over 34 years and has been involved with the Maryland Society of Surveyors most of his career. His professional surveying and mapping experience include; field surveying, project management, planning, technical oversite and quality control for all types of land surveying and mapping projects. Mr. Kundrick currently manages geospatial projects that utilize remote sensing technologies such as aerial photography, aerial LiDAR, mobile LiDAR, 3D laser scanning and BIM Modeling.
