Welcome to the 2019 TUgis Conference. TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Michael Mattaini is a Full-Stack Software Developer who has worked in the GIS and Civil Engineering Industries since 2014 at EBA Engineering, Inc (previously GeographIT). Prior to that, he studied Marine & Freshwater Ecology, Wildlife & Conservation, and Environmental Science at Gettysburg College. He has a passion for software development, geography, automation, and data. He works extensively with both Desktop and Web GIS for the ArcGIS stack and open-source platforms. He has been involved with Next-Gen 911 efforts in Pennsylvania since 2015.
