TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Mark Butterfield is a Senior GIS Analyst with JMT Technology Group and a certified GIS Professional with over 13 years of experience. He is responsible for designing and administering multi-editor enterprise geodatabases, developing and implementing quality control plans, providing oversight to data editors, creating and maintaining GIS standards, and working with customers to streamline business processes and solve problems using GIS technology. Mark works with Esri ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, Bentley MicroStation, Autodesk AutoCAD, FME Workbench, SQL Server, and Oracle. He administers ArcGIS Online and has configured maps and apps to support field collection and data maintenance.
