TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Matt Viverito has over 18 years of GIS experience working with Federal, State, and Local government agencies. In August 2016, Matt joined Esri as a Solution Engineer to support State government customers. Prior to Esri Matt worked as GIS consultant for Dewberry, an engineering and architectural firm located in Fairfax, Virginia and then as the GIS Program Manager for City of Falls Church, Virginia. Matt graduated from Radford University with Bachelor of Science degree in Geography.
