Welcome to the 2019 TUgis Conference. TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Senior GIS Systems Specialist
Conrad is a GIS Developer on the MD DoIT GIO team. He currently wrangles data and works to improve operational efficiency through process automation. He has a BS in Geology and Environmental Science, a MS in Geology, is a GISP, and has been doing GIS for 10 years. He began with paper mapping of geology in the field and later discovered GIS. His GIS career started with data creation, moved to cartography, and then on to development. He has been a developer for about 5 years.
