TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Claudia Turkson

Baltimore City Department of Transportation
GIS Analyst
Both Eric Goods and Claudia Turkson have worked in tandem on utility projects for various units in the City of Baltimore but have been primarily focused on conduit or “dry” utilities. They have participated in the design, development, customization and migration of GIS applications specific to underground utilities for more than a decade and have coordinated extensively with leading industries in such fields as fiber optics, power generation and telecommunications. Most recently their work in asset management and business intelligence explores the next step in the evolution of accurately mapping Baltimore’s subsurface utility network and providing analytical decision support for engineers, scientists and planners.
