Welcome to the 2019 TUgis Conference. TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

Andrew Blowers is a Geospatial Analyst at KCI Technologies, Inc., who works primarily on NPDES related tasks, including inspections and stormwater inventory. He graduated from CCBC Catonsville with an A.A. in Geospatial Applications. Following CCBC, Andrew attended UMBC, graduating with a B.A. in Geography, focused on geospatial technologies. While at UMBC, Andrew worked for the Environmental Safety and Health Department, working on various GIS applications and data sources for University departments across campus. He is now pursuing an M.S degree in Applied Information Technologies from Towson University.
