TUgis: Maryland’s Geospatial Conference is a cooperative undertaking of three primary partners—Maryland State Geographic Information Committee, Maryland Department of Information Technology, and Towson University. TUgis is dedicated to growing and empowering the GIS community throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The annual conference connects the Maryland GIS community to new ideas and trends and offers ample opportunities to find ways to collaborate.

An Introduction to ArcGIS HUB

ArcGIS Hub allows organizations to organize and engage communities around policy initiative. It uses data, visualization, analytics, and collaboration technology to support data-driven work on policy initiatives and measure the impacts. During this presentation we will introduce the concept of Hub and how you can leverage it in your existing ArcGIS environment. We will also walk through existing examples from all levels of government. Finally, we will go behind the scenes and show you how to build a Hub site and use it to foster 2 way engagement with the community
