Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

For over a 100 years, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) has proudly served the citizens of Prince George’s and Montgomery counties – providing drinking water that has always met and exceeded strict Safe Drinking Water Act standards and protecting the environment through vital water resource recovery services. Following our strategic vision, WSSC, in partnership with Esri, has implemented a GIS driven system to simulate service outages in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties. This outage system will allow planners and field staff to evaluate the most efficient and safest approach to identify, isolate, repair, and return water service to our customers. This new system is currently being incorporated with our upcoming Commission-wide Customer to Meter and Work Asset Management deployments. This talk will provide a glimpse of the main features of the system, how it will be used in production in the near future, and potential applications of the tool at the enterprise level.
