The talk will demonstrate why and how the GIS federation of asset information is a best practice for enterprise asset management.
Speaker: Ryen Tarbet has 25 years professional experience in asset management business consulting and technical asset management software implementation. He is the current chair of the U.S. committee to ISO 55000, the international standard on asset management. He is a subject matter expert in the use of geographic information systems in asset management, has specific expertise in capital renewal, and investment planning for infrastructure and its spatial-temporal analysis. Ryen holds a graduate degree in geography (GIS) from the University of California, Davis and studied finance at the UC Davis graduate school of business.
