Data is the state’s most valuable asset, delivering insight to information to make better decisions for Marylanders. The Maryland Department of Information Technology’s Geographic Information Office has strived to ensure data, and the infrastructure, services, and applications leveraged to assist in data-driven decision making, are readily available to both government agencies and the general public. This presentation will cover how the State of Maryland is delivering more data, services, and apps; the different platforms for accessing this data; the programs in place to ensure data continuity over time; and how you can begin using this data on a daily basis.
